Movie Night: Wicked

Are some people born wicked or do they have wickedness thrust upon them?

We always enjoy movie nights as a family. About once every other month we try to do a themed movie night with food matching the movie.

Our most recent themed movie night was Wicked.

To start we made Elphaba and Galinda cookies by splitting a sugar cookie mix into three bowls. One we colored green, the second we colored pink, and the third we left as is. Then we rolled three balls, one of each color and put them together.

After baking and letting them cool, we spread icing between two cookies for a delicious desert!

Our main course were Munchkin slider sandwiches.

We also had a yellow brick road cheese plate on the side.

For the grown ups we made wedge salads with a broomstick-shaped breadstick on the side.

And to top it off we made green punch (Sprite and Hawiian Punch) with colored sherbert.

We had a fun time making the food, watching the movie, and of course eating the food!
