We love to enjoy movie nights as a family. I try to theme our movie nights to go along with whatever movie we are watching. We have done quite a few over the years.

This past week we did a small movie themed night for Inside Out 2. We actually went to see Inside Out 2 this summer at the drive-in but after it came out on Disney+ the kids wanted to watch it again.

For our food we ordered pizza as this was a nod to the first movie when they had broccoli pizza. I knew my kids would never eat broccoli pizza so we just did regular pizza (“Congratulations San Francisco, you ruined pizza!”).

We also ordered wings as “Anger’s Hot Wings”. We had guacamole for Disgust along with blue corn tortilla chips for Sadness. We wanted to do smiley-face fries for Joy, but they were out of stock. We settled for lemonade to symbolize Joy.

I also did a rainbow fruit tray to cover all the emotions and colors that are in the movie. For dessert we made memory orbs. They were delicious!

I usually also do activities or crafts but this time we didn’t get to that. I did go online and print out some free coloring pages of Inside Out 2. You could also make a house of cards as it’s a major feature of Imagination Land in both movies.

This was one of our smaller movie nights but we had a ton of fun together eating themed food and watching the movie together.
